Raw Hemp Seed Oil
Raw Hemp seed oil is considered the most balanced oil for meeting our dietary needs. Besides being ridiculously healthy it has a pleasant nutty flavour, making it easy to take as a supplement. One teaspoon of this delicious, nutty oil will meet your daily needs. Hemp seed oil also contains natural (legal) cannabinoids and terpenes to complete your health and wellness regime.
Health benefits : Hemp seed oil has a unique 3:1 ratio of omega-6 and omega-3. This is a perfect ratio for our nutritional requirements and promotes cardiovascular health and may benefit some skin diseases. Another essential fatty acid found in hemp seeds is Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). This is a type of omega-6 fatty acid which can have a hormone regulatory effect and may relieve symptoms of PMS. The natural cannabinoids and terpenes along with the fatty acids can play a key role in reducing inflammation and aiding immune function.
How to use : Use in salads, smoothies, pesto and pasta dishes or rub directly onto skin. Avoid heating as hemp seed oil has a low smoke point.

Sustainability : When hemp grows, it has a remarkable ability to clean the air. In fact, for every tonne of hemp produced, 1.63 tonnes of carbon is removed from the air. This actually makes the growing of hemp crops a carbon negative activity. Growing hemp also improves the quality of the soil. The stem and leaves of the hemp plant are jam-packed with nutrients so as the plant matures and the seed grows, leaf matter falls to the ground and decomposes replenishing the soil beneath it. And after harvesting, the remnants of the hemp plant can then be returned to the soil to make for a richer yield the following year. Basically, hemp heals the air and the earth while it grows!
