Description
Truffle Balsamic 150ml from The Margaret River Truffle Farm is the bottle we ration at home — balsamic vinegar infused with black truffle and black garlic, made in small batches in Cowaramup.
Three flavours jostle in every drop: the sweet-sour snap of the balsamic, the deep umami of black garlic, and the earthy, almost chocolatey perfume of black truffle. It’s smooth and velvety rather than sharp, which makes it less a vinegar than a finishing sauce — a small pour transforms whatever it lands on.
How we use it
- Poured over roasted vegetables straight from the oven
- Drizzled across salads, grilled meats or a good steak
- Over bruschetta with tomato and basil
- With cheese — and even fresh strawberries; trust us on that one
From Cowaramup, Margaret River
The Margaret River Truffle Farm grows Tuber melanosporum — the famed Périgord black truffle — beneath oak and hazelnut trees in WA’s Margaret River wine region, with trained dogs hunting out each truffle through late autumn and winter. The truffle balsamic that results is vegan, gluten free and free of anything artificial: Margaret River craftsmanship in one very dangerous little bottle.
