Vasse Valley Terpene Tonic DOG Soothe combines Australian-grown hemp seed oil with a carefully selected blend of botanical terpenes, made just for dogs — the canine companion to Vasse Valley’s Terpene Tonic range for people.
Terpenes are botanical aromatic compounds that give plants and flowers their distinctive scents; more than 20,000 different terpenes are found across the plant world. The lead terpene in DOG Soothe is beta-caryophyllene (BCP), a plant terpene notable for engaging the CB2 receptor of the endocannabinoid system, which is found in both dogs and humans. The tonic contains no THC.
How to give: add the recommended number of drops twice daily with food, directly into your dog’s mouth, or let your dog lick them from your finger:
- 5 kg or less — 1 drop twice daily
- 5–10 kg — 2 drops twice daily
- 10–15 kg — 3 drops twice daily
- 15–20 kg — 4 drops twice daily
- Above 20 kg — 5 drops twice daily
Give consistently as part of your dog’s daily routine. It can also be applied topically. Not suitable for cats — and as with anything new in your dog’s bowl, speak to your vet if you have any questions.
