Description
Organic Jasmine Green Tea pours a piece of tea history: jasmine-scented green tea was among the first flavoured teas to leave China on the trade ships of the late 1800s, and the world has been smitten with it ever since.
This organic rendition shows why the romance stuck. Sweet, heady jasmine florals rise off the cup first, carried on organic green tea that finishes fresh and lightly grassy. The blend combines organic green leaf, real jasmine flowers and essential oil of jasmine, so the perfume runs all the way through the sip rather than fading after the first pour.
Brewing it gently
- Let boiled water cool to around 80 degrees — green tea rewards patience
- One teaspoon per cup, two to three minutes

Frequently asked questions
What does jasmine green tea taste like?
Sweet floral notes from real jasmine flowers over a fresh, grassy green tea finish — refreshing, fragrant and delicate. It is easy to see why it became one of the world's most popular styles of green tea.
What is the correct water temperature for jasmine green tea?
Let freshly boiled water cool slightly to about 80°C, then infuse 1 teaspoon per cup for 2–3 minutes. Avoid over-steeping — green tea turns bitter if brewed too hot or too long.
Where does jasmine tea come from originally?
Green tea infused with jasmine flowers was one of the first flavoured teas exported out of China, carried west on trade ships in the late 1800s. The world quickly fell in love with jasmine's intoxicating aroma.
Is this jasmine green tea organic?
Yes — it is made from organic green tea (Camellia sinensis), organic jasmine flowers and essential oil of jasmine, blended by Seven Seas Tea in Margaret River, Western Australia.
How much tea do I get?
A 100g pouch of loose leaf — at a teaspoon per cup that is many weeks of fragrant brewing. A basket infuser gives the leaves and flowers room to unfurl properly.
