Before immigrating to Perth, Hubert had been residing in France, Switzerland, Belgium and the United Kingdom. France particularly left a strong and definite impression about culture, conviviality and love of gastronomy.
The relationship between Hubert and Comtesse du Barry started in France 10 years ago. When Hubert first arrived in Australia in 2004 these outstanding products were not available on the market. This was the inspiration for bringing foie gras, terrines, rillettes, and also traditional French cooked meals from the South West of France.
Hubert and his team of gastronomes have since expanded their collection of gourmet products to include some of Australia’s best artisan foods & beverages, including organic hand crafted teas, gourmet wine crackers and delicious bacon jams, all made with love in Australia.

We are also selling directly to the public and offer Australia-wide delivery via Australia Post.
