The Spice Mistress Turmeric Masala is an oily and textural bitter blend designed to restore balance. Turmeric’s ‘hero’ spice quality is intensified by the citric leather quality of ground mace. Sattvic tulsi is a powerful antioxidant and promoter of body, mind, spirit balance. Ground coriander softens the masala. Amchoor and ground ginger bring welcome warmth and acidity. This is a robust, voluminous masala suited to marriage with eggs, legumes, cauliflower, chicken, potatoes and fish. One 80 gram bottle can make up to 20 dishes. Ghee softens the masala’s bitter backbone. Olive oil enhances the blend’s strident and strong quality.
These masala blends are hand blended and bottled in Margaret River from mostly organic spice.
