Honey contains a treasure of hidden nutritional and medicinal value for centuries. The sweet golden liquid from the beehive is a popular kitchen staple carrying antibacterial and antifungal properties that has been used since the early days of Egyptian tombs.

All around Australia bees are busy visiting flowers to collect nectar and pollen. The flowers visited give honey its flavour and colour. Bees tend to work less than 200 metres from the hive, but can range up to more than 1.5 km away if necessary.
